BOOK NAME: Everything happens for a reason

Book Name: Everything Happens for a Reason
Author: Kavita Daswani

The book is a work of fiction circling around an Indian Girl who hails from a mediocre family and has three female siblings, the narrator being the youngest. The family finds itself in immense grief as none of the elder sisters could be married in-time as per the Indian Traditions and the marriage of the narrator is arranged. She then lands in United States, the native of her Husband. The job she finds there apparently leads her to become an entertainment correspondent for a Hollywood Journal. The readers who find pleasure in reading a story may find it good. However, if you are looking for some thought provoking material, it is missing. Your expectations might reach an acme when you get a glimpse of the title and the cover, but the book is nothing beyond average. The plot circles around how the narrator hides things from her in-laws to continue in her job and showcases ordinary events like her squabble with her sister-in-law. The story might make you smile at times, but it is hard to think over it, after the reading is accomplished.

An Average.
